Back in Sydney

I arrived back in Sydney about 9:30am sun morning after a pretty easy flight (the seat next to me was empty, so I was able to stretch out from Honolulu to Sydney) back to sunny skies and a balmy 29c.

Sarah was at the airport to meet me, and after heading home to dump my bags we decided to go for walk. We walked to the opera house (about 20 mins walk from our house), and around to the botanical gardens which surround it. These are huge gardens, with all of the various plants and trees labelled. We walked around the outskirts of the gardens on the sea wall – which is remarkably similar to the sea wall around Stanley park in Vancouver, until we came to Wooloomoloo (lots of rich people live here, including Russel Crowe).

True to form, we spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the patio of a great pub.

It’s great to be back!
